Security risk: Do you also use your work phone for personal use?

Latest Trainings

Mobile devices are becoming increasingly important in modern industrial culture. Smartphones are already a basic equipment for many employees. But tablets are also being used more and more in production, planning, and administration. Companies are developing their own software to support the increasingly digitized processes.

But what if malware gets onto professionally used devices? The risk is high, as the current D21-Digital-Index 2016 study by Kantar TNS shows: 69 out of 100 surveyed employees stated that they also use their employer-provided mobile devices for personal use. This includes checking non-work emails, making calls, visiting websites, and even installing third-party software.

This should definitely lead to the professionally used software on these mobile devices being securely designed to minimize the risk of malware infection. The basis for this is a good understanding of the dangers and the means to eliminate them.

Learn how to achieve these effects at our Application Security Management workshop from February 8th to 10th.
