openDesk

Strengthen digital sovereignty: Open-source training for a modern, secure work environment.

With practical, targeted openDesk training courses for confident use of the open digital workplace platform.

openDesk is a platform that was developed specifically for public administration to strengthen digital sovereignty and data protection. openDesk combines central work tools such as email, calendar, word processing, file management, chat, and video conferencing under a single login—flexible, transparent, and independent of commercial providers.

qSkills teaches practical skills for optimal use of the platform. Participants learn about the most important functions and modules – including Collabora Online, Nextcloud, Element/Matrix, Jitsi Meet, and OpenProject – and, through realistic exercises, discover how these applications work together seamlessly, support processes, and enable modern, data protection-compliant working methods.

Administrative staff, project members, and teams learn how to use openDesk confidently and securely – for transparent processes, better collaboration, and a future-proof digital workplace in public administration and data protection-oriented companies.
