OT100-WS: OT Security – Effectively Protecting Industrial Systems from Cyberattacks
Web Seminar: Security - Industry 4.0
Modern production systems are increasingly exposed to cybersecurity risks due to their high degree of networking and the integration of standard IT components. At the same time, established IT security measures cannot be applied without restrictions in this environment. Why this is the case and how industrial cybersecurity can be effectively implemented is what you will learn in this web seminar.

Q & A Session
Objectives:
Modern production facilities are increasingly exposed to cybersecurity risks. The web seminar OT Security – Effectively protecting industrial facilities from cyberattacks provides you with an initial overview of how cybersecurity in the context of industrial production can be assessed and improved.
Participants will learn among other things
- how essential threats can be appropriately classified
- what typical vulnerabilities exist and what their (potential) impacts are
- within what framework established IT security approaches can be applicable in OT
- what fundamental principles have been established in industrial cybersecurity
Target audience:
- CISOs and other IT security officers of manufacturing companies
- IT and cybersecurity experts
- Production system administrators
- Engineers and technicians from automation technology
- OT administrators
- Product / development managers at automation technology manufacturers
Prerequisites:
To be able to follow the course content and learning pace in the web seminar OT Security – Effectively Protecting Industrial Systems from Cyberattacks, the following knowledge is advantageous:
- Basic IT knowledge
- Basic knowledge in IT security
