it-sa 2026: Record trade fair, intensive discussions, and a full house at qSkills™
News 2026
The it-sa Expo & Congress 2026 continued its impressive growth trajectory. From October 27 to 29, the international cybersecurity community convened in Nuremberg: More than 33,000 professional visitors from over 70 countries and 1,005 exhibitors made this year's event a new record-breaking trade fair.
At many booths, the focus was on artificial intelligence – from new applications and opportunities to risks and securing AI-based agents and systems. Other key topics included digital sovereignty, NIS2, and post-quantum cryptography.
Further education and personal encounters at qSkills™
At the qSkills™ booth in Hall 7 – Stand 246, everything revolved around further education, qualification, and certifications. With our prize wheel, regional specialty drinks, and the meeting point for ISACA™ and other partners, we provided numerous opportunities for personal encounters and conversations.
We addressed very specific challenges and training needs: building AI competencies, obtaining personnel certifications, securing IT architectures, automating processes, and much more. The numerous discussions – over 400 – once again demonstrated how crucial qualified employees and up-to-date expertise are for sustainable cyber resilience.
11 presentations and more than 850 professional visitors
A particular highlight was our expert presentations in the Istanbul conference room at NCC East. Over two trade fair days, we welcomed more than 850 professional visitors across eleven presentations. The strong response and interest in our chosen topics were very gratifying.
We are currently processing the contacts and discussions, which will take some time. However, we look forward to continuing the exchange with the interested parties of our presentations and training offerings and jointly shaping the next projects and learning paths.
After it-sa comes the AI Navigator!
On November 18 and 19, the action continues in Nuremberg: The AI Navigator will also take place at NCC East, and qSkills™ will be on-site with a special offering.
For the first time, we are offering a workshop as part of the congress where participants can obtain the AI competence certificate in accordance with Article 4 of the EU AI Regulation. The regulation requires companies and organizations to ensure an adequate level of AI competence among their employees.
Regularly, we offer this training at qSkills™ as a half-day format for €195 net. Visitors to the AI Navigator should not miss out on this added value: On November 19 starting at 09:00 in the Istanbul room, congress participants have the opportunity to attend the workshop and obtain the corresponding AI competence certificate.
As a thank-you to our it-sa community, there is an additional price advantage: Using the voucher code ITSA-goes-AI-Navigator, you will receive a 10% discount on the ticket price when booking via the DOAG portal.
Our conclusion
The it-sa 2026 was a resounding success for qSkills™ – with many valuable encounters, exciting professional insights, and concrete starting points for further collaboration. Because one thing is clear for us: Cyber resilience is not achieved by technology alone, but above all through people, knowledge, and continuous development.
