Looking ahead: Recognize dangers, minimize risks, seize opportunities
News 2013
Nuremberg, September 5, 2013. qSkills™, the independent training provider, invites you to the 6th Security Summit – the decision-makers' forum in Nuremberg on October 7. Renowned experts from business and science will share their knowledge on future-oriented strategies and solutions in the field of security and risk management. This year's event will focus on IT security and legislation, risk management, simulation approaches, scenarios, and awareness.
The organizers of the Security Summit are once again offering a wide range of specialist topics and best practice presentations this year. Under the motto “Looking ahead: recognizing dangers, minimizing risks, exploiting opportunities,” qSkills™ is offering a well-founded range of topics and knowledge on current issues from the world of information security and risk management with the sixth edition of the Security Summit. In addition to classic IT security issues such as network attacks and the protection of business-critical data, legal requirements are also a key topic. Another focus is on regulatory trends and the interlinking of risk management and compliance, including simulation approaches and scenario models. “We deliberately focus on practical topics in order to provide participants with added value for their daily work,” explains Birgit Jacobs, member of the management board at qSkills™.
In this context, it is important to focus on the value-adding aspect of the content in order to make it suitable and applicable for everyday use within your own organization. In this context, awareness is a key success factor in all IT security and risk management issues, as Birgit Jacobs knows: “Employees are the key to success for companies of all sizes. It is only with their help that security concepts and risk management strategies can be successfully implemented and bring the desired success. And this requires the development and expansion of knowledge for greater awareness within one's own organization.”
