qSkills™ is the first in Europe to train the latest Brocade™ generation.
News 2021

Nuremberg, 23.03.2021 – The qSkills™ GmbH & Co. KG integrates the latest GEN7 switches from Broadcom into its in-house data center in Nuremberg. This switch generation is over 50% faster and comes with numerous new features. It is particularly suitable for AI and fast complex database applications. Compared to GEN6, the GEN7 switches have almost 50% lower latency and 50% more buffers. As the first training provider in Europe, qSkills™ enables participants to learn about the full range of new features and their benefits.
Deep expertise to make the best use of the latest technology
As part of hands-on training sessions, participants receive in-depth technical expertise for handling the latest technology.
“With our latest GEN7 Fibre Channel generation, companies can combine unparalleled performance, powerful analytics, and unique automation features to enable an intelligent, autonomous SAN. The new speed of 64 Gbit/s and 50% lower latency allow for the operation of new storage technologies, such as Flash Arrays with FC-NVMe. GEN7 also offers new autonomous features, such as Self-Learning, Self-Healing, and Self-Optimizing, to automate SAN management.
Our customers and partners can learn all about this in the German- or English-language trainings of our long-standing partner qSkills™, who has already integrated GEN7 switches into its labs. The consistently positive feedback from our customers who have attended qSkills™ courses confirms our successful collaboration. To provide customers with planning security, the trainings also take place with just two participants,” said Dirk Hampel, Senior System Consultant, Brocade™ Communications GmbH, a Broadcom company.
These German and English-language courses cover training on G720 as well as GEN5, GEN6, GEN7:
