qSkills™ supports the CSAF Community Days 2026
News 2026
Together for standardized vulnerability management and international exchange: qSkills™ is also committed to the CSAF community in 2026.
The CSAF Community Days will bring together international experts, developers, manufacturers, users and representatives of authorities in Hattersheim near Frankfurt from 16 to 18 November 2026. The focus will be on current developments in the Common Security Advisory Framework (CSAF), practical implementations, tools and best practices for the standardized exchange of security information.
qSkills™ will once again support this year's Community Days, thus continuing its commitment to the further development and dissemination of the international standard.
Many years of collaboration and joint commitment
qSkills™ has been working with the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI™) and OASIS Open for many years. The CSAF Community Days 2025 and accompanying workshops were also held at qSkills™ in Nuremberg. Together with experts from the BSI™, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and other organizations, knowledge was shared and international professional exchange was promoted.
CSAF as a building block for future-proof vulnerability management
The Common Security Advisory Framework (CSAF) enables the standardized, machine-readable provision and processing of security advisories. Companies can use it to exchange security information in a structured way, process it automatically and better integrate it into their existing vulnerability management processes.
The further development to CSAF 2.1 brings additional possibilities and profiles. This makes the standard even more important in the context of increasing regulatory requirements and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
The CSAF Community Days provide a platform for exchanging experiences from practical application, discussing technical developments and working together on the further development of the standard.
Knowledge transfer: CSAF 2.1 at qSkills™
In addition to supporting community events, qSkills™ is committed to promoting the practical application of CSAF through targeted training and workshops.
With BS130: CSAF 2.1 – General Training: Security Advisories from the basics to creation and distribution, qSkills™ offers a 5-day in-person training course.
The participants will deal with, among other things:
the basics and ecosystem of CSAF 2.1
the structure and creation of machine-readable security advisories
the eight CSAF profiles including VEX
tools for creating and validating advisories
setting up a CSAF provider
automated distribution and processing of security information
The training is aimed at professionals who want to create, publish or process security advisories and integrate CSAF into their processes.
The next date is from 9 to 13 November 2026 in Nuremberg.
