qSkills™ with Week of Information Security:

News 2014

Nuremberg, September 4, 2014. qSkills™, the independent IT training provider, kicks off the Information Security Week on October 6, 2014. The focus is on transferring knowledge about the latest IT security and risk management solutions at the qSkills™ Security Summit and the IT security trade fair it-sa.

“Where you are safe, put question marks.” What the Polish writer Wieslaw Brudzinski recognized years ago should also make decision-makers in our modern business world think. The reasons? Economic espionage, hacker attacks, or large-scale eavesdropping scandals show: Nothing is as secure as the insecure. In plain language, it's time to rethink.

Security Summit: Decision-makers' meeting par excellence
As part of the European IT Security Month, qSkills™ will once again hold the Security Summit on October 6 at the Nuremberg South-West Park. This year, the event takes place for the seventh time. Decision-makers from all sectors of the economy, science, and the public sector come together on the eve of it-sa to exchange views on security and risk management. With the Decision-Maker Forum, the IT training provider has established one of the top events in the security and risk management field – regionally, nationally, in the German-speaking area. The aim is to provide a practical orientation for the summit and targeted as well as theoretically sound information exchange among participants. This year's topics include
focus areas such as Industry 4.0, Compliance, Risk Management, and Information Security, up to questions about internal investigation procedures and Application Security. The Decision-Maker Meeting par excellence is rounded off with a lecture by former agent Leo Martin on the topic "Secret Weapons of Communication: Gentle Strategies with Striking Impact."
