Some news is more than just feedback

After many years, André R. – system administrator and specialist for Solaris & NetApp™ – is retiring from professional life. At the same time, this also marks the end of his long journey as a participant at qSkills™.

On the occasion of his departure, we received this personal message:

Hello qSkills™ team, everything comes to an end and unfortunately I will no longer be able to attend training courses at qSkills™. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire team for the many great seminars I was able to attend in Nuremberg. I always had excellent instructors in a pleasant environment.

I would like to give special thanks to founder and managing director Kurt-Jürgen Jacobs, whom I first met at a seminar during my Siemens days in the 1990s. It is only thanks to him that I ended up in Nuremberg later on. 😊

I am saying goodbye with a small tear in my eye and wish you all the best and many eager “students” like I once was.”

We were particularly touched by his memories of the time we shared long before qSkills™ was founded in 2002 – and by how a first encounter at a seminar grew into a decades-long connection.

Feedback like this reminds us that continuing education is about so much more than just imparting specialist knowledge. It often accompanies people for many years of their professional careers, builds trust, connects people, and creates networks that extend far beyond the seminar room.

Dear André, thank you so much for your long-standing trust, the many years we have shared, and these appreciative words. We wish you good health, many wonderful experiences, and above all the time to enjoy all the things that often had too little space in your working life.
