The course MS102 Microsoft™ 365 Administrator is aimed at individuals who are pursuing the Microsoft™ 365 administrator role and have already completed at least one of the role-based Microsoft™ 365 certification paths for administrators.

Prerequisites:

To be able to follow the training content and pace of the course MS102 Microsoft™ 365 Administrator well, you should have the following prerequisites:

Description:

The course MS102 Microsoft™ 365 Administrator covers the following key elements of Microsoft™ 365 administration: Microsoft™ 365 tenant management, Microsoft™ 365 identity synchronization, and Microsoft™ 365 security and compliance. Under "Microsoft™ 365 tenant management", participants learn how to configure their Microsoft™ 365 tenant, including their organizational profile, tenant subscription options, component services, user accounts and licenses, security groups, and administrator roles. Subsequently, it moves to the configuration of Microsoft™ 365, with the focus on the configuration of Office client connectivity. Finally, participants learn how to manage user-driven client installations of Microsoft™ 365 Apps for enterprise deployments. After that, Microsoft™ 365 identity synchronization is examined, with the focus on Azure Active Directory Connect and Azure AD Connect cloud synchronization. It is taught how the various directory synchronization options are planned and implemented, synchronized identities are managed, and password management in Microsoft™ 365 is implemented using multi-factor authentication and self-service password management. In "Microsoft™ 365 security management", participants begin by examining the common types of threat vectors and data breaches that organizations are confronted with nowadays. Subsequently, they learn how Microsoft™ 365 security solutions handle the individual threats. They are familiarized with Microsoft™ Secure Score as well as with Azure Active Directory Identity Protection. Subsequently, it is taught how Microsoft™ 365 security services are managed, including Exchange Online Protection, Safe Attachments, and Safe Links. Finally, course participants are familiarized with the various reports for monitoring their organization's security health. Subsequently, the topic changes from security services to threat intelligence. In particular, the use of Microsoft™ 365 Defender, Microsoft™ Defender for Cloud Apps, and Microsoft™ Defender for Endpoint is covered. Once the participants are familiar with the Microsoft™ 365 security suite, they learn the key components of Microsoft™ 365 compliance management. It begins with an overview of all key aspects of data governance, including data archiving and retention, Microsoft™ Purview Message Encryption, and data loss prevention (DLP). Subsequently, they deal in more detail with archiving and retention, placing special emphasis on Microsoft™ Purview insider risk management, information barriers, and DLP policies. The participants then examine how these compliance features are implemented using data classification and sensitivity labels.
