On October 6, 2025, it was time: qSkills™ invited to the Security Summit in Nuremberg for the 18th time - and once again the event lived up to its reputation as an important networking event for the IT security industry. Around 100 experts and executives from companies, authorities, and organizations accepted the invitation to exchange views on current security trends, best practices, and future strategies.

What started as a professional conference has long since become a fixed meeting point for friends, partners, and companions from the entire qSkills™ community - a real class reunion of the security industry. In addition to exciting lectures and practical breakout sessions, personal exchange was the focus: people who have been working together on the challenges of digital security for years came together to share knowledge, take new impulses, and maintain existing connections.

“Our Security Summit lives from the people who shape it,” emphasizes Christian Jacobs, Managing Director of qSkills™. “Many of our participants, partners, and customers have been with us for years - that's what makes the event so special. It is a place where expertise, trust, and personal relationships come together.”

This year's Security Summit was themed “Act instead of hesitate.” Instead of getting lost in theoretical discussions, the Summit focused on pragmatic solutions in the face of disruption, artificial intelligence, and new regulatory requirements. “We should” - this phrase is all too familiar to many. But only through action can we meet the urgent challenges,” says Birgit Jacobs, Managing Director of qSkills™. “The Summit broke with passive mindsets and called on all participants to act now,” Birgit Jacobs continues.

In terms of content, the program ranged from current threat scenarios to cloud and AI security, and strategies for cyber resilience and governance. Renowned experts and representatives of leading companies provided practical insights - always with a focus on feasibility and knowledge transfer.

After the day event, the participants embarked on a city tour through Nuremberg with the motto “Love, Lust, and Vice - Morality in Changing Times.” The Summit was rounded off by a relaxed get-together in the evening at Bootshaus Nuremberg, where excellent food was served in a familiar atmosphere, discussions continued, laughter filled the air, and networking took place.

The 18th qSkills™ Security Summit once again demonstrated: IT security is teamwork - and qSkills™ is proud to have been providing the platform for knowledge, trust, and partnerships to grow for almost two decades.
