ITIL v3 - Improvements & Strategic IT Sourcing in ITIL

End of May, the eagerly awaited third version of ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) was released.

What's new in ITIL v3 and what benefits does it bring?

In our next IT board meeting, we will discuss these innovations together with our partner emendis GmbH. Topics include the stronger integration of IT into a company's value creation, improved scalability to meet the needs of IT organizations, as well as harmonization with the ISO 20000 standard and compliance requirements.

The second equally important aspect deals with the topic of "Strategic IT Sourcing." Strategies for outsourcing, co-sourcing, and shared service models will be discussed, and practical examples will show how you can derive qualitative and monetary benefits through optimized sourcing models.
