From AI to quantum computing: qSkills™ provides answers to the future training questions at it-sa 2025
News 2025

Nuremberg, October 2025 – The it-sa 2025 once again provided the perfect platform to experience IT security trends – and to highlight the importance of practical further education for qSkills™. With over 28,000 trade visitors from 64 countries and nearly 1,000 exhibiting companies, the fair underscored its international significance.
“We are here to meet existing and potential new customers and to understand their needs and challenges,” explained Christian Jacobs, Managing Director of qSkills™ GmbH & Co. KG. “A central problem for many companies is the complexity of the tools they use. In order to effectively utilize these tools and reliably detect security alerts, IT teams need well-trained employees.”
The focus of it-sa 2025 was on key future topics in IT security – and qSkills™ offers practical training on these topics:
Artificial Intelligence (AI): AI systems are increasingly being used in business processes, but they also pose new security risks. Training shows how AI can be securely implemented, monitored, and protected from manipulation.
Digital Sovereignty: Companies and authorities must maintain control over their data and systems, even with cloud or outsourcing solutions. Further education helps minimize dependencies and strengthen internal competencies.
Quantum Computing: The development of quantum computers presents new opportunities, but also new dangers for encryption technologies. IT teams learn to evaluate cryptographic methods and plan future-proof solutions.
OT-Security (Operational Technology Security): Networked production and control systems are increasingly vulnerable to attacks. Specialized training teaches how to effectively protect OT environments.
Regulations & Standards: Legal requirements such as NIS2, CRA, ISO/IEC 27001, or industry-specific standards pose complex challenges for companies. Training helps ensure compliance and minimize risks from misapplications.
Practical solutions were also discussed on how security teams and CISOs can be relieved.
qSkills™ used the it-sa 2025 security trade fair to present itself as a premium provider of practical IT training at Hall 7, Stand 7–246. In the congress room Istanbul in the NCC East - 2nd floor - a total of 10 expert lectures on current IT security issues were held on the first two days of the fair:
