The new RESTful API in conjunction with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Verification of the integrity of the device and media configuration
Changes to device and media attributes that cannot be modified in the GUI
Checking of time and work schedules of NetBackup schedulers nbpem (backups) and nbstserv (storage lifecycle policies, SLPs)
Central query and configuration of exclude and include definitions on clients (also on Unix clients!) from the server
