Prerequisites:

To be able to follow the course content and learning pace of the training SC350 Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Basics effectively, no specific prerequisites are required, however basic IT knowledge is helpful.

Description:

In the course SC350 Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Basics we provide you with the fundamentals of OSINT analysis. In various scenarios you learn the methodologies, workflows and required techniques to identify data and transform it into valuable information.

The techniques covered include setting up a clean working environment, assessing the potential risk when accessing specific sources and deriving information from data traces as well as adequately protecting your own system and data traces against identification and analysis by other OSINT actors or threat actors.

This workshop is conducted by an instructor who has several years of relevant OSINT experience with law enforcement agencies and LE academies, particularly with operational units investigating cybercrime. He is a leading expert in the topics he teaches and has extensively used the OSINT tools himself as well as conducted training for specialized forces of other cybercrime units.
